I think of data as the core of every good idea coming to life in a company—the heart of it all.

I build strategies for businesses for their journey of digital transformation, and I also incorporate responsible AI into the mix. And when I don’t do that, I work as the founder of Girls at Tech Nordics, trying to uplift young women to see what I know to be true & is the most important thing for me: Data is fun, tech is fun, and to enable cultures where data is truly the soul of everything.

The wait is over and beyond driving change and empowering women in tech, I now host The Vanessa Eriksson Podcast Show, where I bring together leading and global voices in thought-provoking discussions. My goal is to bridge the gap between visionary ideas and actionable outcomes.

Why I do what I do

I’ve always been fascinated by the vast amounts of data we collect and the endless possibilities it holds. What excites me most is developing strategies to build strong, secure foundations and manage data responsibly.

My experience in the autonomous vehicle industry, has given me deep insight into just how powerful and data-intensive these technologies are. It’s the complexity of data that motivates me to dig deeper and find meaningful solutions, while also highlighting the critical importance of cybersecurity and building systems that prioritize trust, ethics, and resilience.

I believe that as AI reshapes industries, one of the greatest challenges and opportunities we face is achieving sustainability and responsible governance of data and AI.
